Each session is an hour and a half. Apart from Punta Gorda Town, the tour will include visits to Belize City, Seine Bight, San Pedro, Belmopan, San Ignacio, Dangriga, and Hopkins.
This event showcases the teaching and learning in our Garifuna Language in Schools Program in the primary school system. It is a Talent Show where each presentation has to be done in the Garifuna Language and each participant receives a prize.

This year the High Schools Battle of the Drums is being hosted by Delille Academy and will be held in Dangriga Town. Participating high schools will come from Belize City, Dangriga Town, Independence, Georgetown Village, and Punta Gorda Town. We expect that 10 high Schools will participate. The current champion is Independence High School.
