Garifuna Language Preservation Program
The Garifuna Language Preservation Program, headed by Secretariat Member Mrs. Carmen Jane Avila, is one of the main Battle of the Drums program. The program includes annual activities that are used to introduce and teach the Garifuna language to children. This is done mainly through schools and summer activities.
